Description

A unique recipe combining the sweetness of smoked honey with the umami flavor of anchovies for a delicious rib dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup smoked honey
  • 4 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together smoked honey, minced anchovies, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the ribs with the marinade and let them sit for at least 1 hour.
  4. Place the ribs in the smoker and smoke for about 4 hours, or until tender.
  5. Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • For best results, marinate the ribs overnight.
