- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 1 teaspoon capers, rinsed and chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the smoked trout, cream cheese, and sour cream.
- Use a fork to flake the trout and mix until well blended.
- Add lemon juice, dill, capers, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
