Description

Deliciously soft donuts filled with a rich vanilla custard, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup vanilla custard (for filling)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, warm milk and mix in eggs, butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough and cut into donut shapes.
  6. Heat oil in a fryer and fry donuts until golden brown.
  7. Cool the donuts and fill with vanilla custard using a piping bag.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
