- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 orange (zested and sliced)
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon allspice berries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine apple cider, orange zest and slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, and brown sugar.
- Heat over medium heat until it simmers, then reduce heat to low.
- Let it steep for at least 30 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
- Strain out the solids before serving.
- Serve warm in mugs and garnish with additional orange slices if desired.
