- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir and simmer over low heat until slightly thickened.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
