Description

A delicious pasta dish filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, garlic, and Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini for added flavor.
  • These stuffed shells can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
