- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1 cup strawberry puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Split the dough in half and mix matcha powder into one half and strawberry puree into the other half.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet, alternating between matcha and strawberry blends for marbling.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh strawberries for the puree.
- These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
- Adjust the amount of matcha according to your preference for flavor strength.
