Description

Delicious marble cookies that combine the flavors of matcha and strawberry for a unique treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Split the dough in half and mix matcha powder into one half and strawberry puree into the other half.
  7. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet, alternating between matcha and strawberry blends for marbling.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
