Ingredients

- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Beat in the egg, then stir in the milk and vanilla.
- Fold in the flour, salt, and mix until just combined.
- Spoon mixture into egg-shaped molds and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Cut the cakes in half and fill with strawberries and whipped cream.
- Seal the halves together and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
