Description

Delicious and festive Strawberry Shortcake Easter Egg Bombs perfect for spring celebrations!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in the egg, then stir in the milk and vanilla.
  4. Fold in the flour, salt, and mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon mixture into egg-shaped molds and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Cut the cakes in half and fill with strawberries and whipped cream.
  8. Seal the halves together and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
