Ingredients

- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning; mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss in the cooked fettuccine until well coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken or shrimp for added protein.
