A delicious and crunchy sunflower seed brittle, perfect for a sweet treat or a snack.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, continue to cook without stirring until the mixture reaches a deep amber color.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in butter, sunflower seeds, and baking soda.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
- Let cool completely and break into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- For a variation, add vanilla extract or other nuts.
