Description
Delicious and tender Swedish veal patties served with a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground veal
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground veal, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides.
- Remove the patties and set aside.
- Add beef broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in sour cream and return patties to the skillet.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot with potatoes or bread.
Notes
- These patties can be frozen for later use.
- Serve with lingonberry sauce for a traditional touch.
