Description

Delicious and healthy Tahini Date Freezer Cups made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend tahini and pitted dates until smooth.
  2. Add cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until combined.
  3. Optionally, mix in chopped nuts.
  4. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  5. Pour the mixture into the muffin tin, filling each liner to the top.
  6. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Remove from the muffin tin and store in an airtight container in the freezer.
  8. Enjoy the frozen treats directly from the freezer!
