Description

Delicious and crumbly tahini shortbread cookies that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine tahini, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add the flour to the mixture until a dough forms.
  4. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten slightly.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
