- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, butter, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Add vanilla extract and milk and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut into strips.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and powdered sugar over the strips.
- Roll the strips into a spiral shape to form snails.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- These pastries are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
