Description

Delicious cookies that blend the flavors of tiramisu with a delightful crinkle texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and coffee to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop dough and roll into balls, then coat in powdered sugar.
  8. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the dough to prevent spreading.
  • You can add a layer of mascarpone cream in between cookies for an extra treat.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
