Description

A rich and creamy vegan mint chocolate tart that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, heat coconut milk and dark chocolate chips until melted.
  5. Stir in peppermint extract, agave syrup, and sea salt.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the tart crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Slice and serve the tart chilled.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, increase the peppermint extract.
  • Top with fresh mint leaves before serving for decoration.
