Description

This Vegan Snickers Tart is a delicious, no-bake dessert that is both gluten-free and guilt-free. It’s made with wholesome ingredients that mimic the classic Snickers flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend dates and almonds until finely chopped.
  2. Add cocoa powder, almond butter, coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until mixed well.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a tart pan to form the crust.
  4. In a bowl, mix chopped peanuts with a bit of almond butter and spread over the crust.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate on top of the tart.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before slicing.

Notes

  • For a sweeter tart, increase the maple syrup.
  • To make it nut-free, substitute almonds with sunflower seeds.
