Description

A flavorful venison tenderloin topped with a delicious garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound venison tenderloin
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the garlic herb butter mixture over the venison tenderloin.
  4. Place the tenderloin in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear on all sides until browned.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Always allow the meat to rest before slicing to retain its juices.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the perfect doneness.
