- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic herb butter mixture over the venison tenderloin.
- Place the tenderloin in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
