Description

Za’atar Roasted Cauliflower Steaks are a flavorful and healthy side dish that highlights the nutty and aromatic spices of za’atar.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons za’atar seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, za’atar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the mixture.
  5. Place the steaks on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
